Jumer’s Casino & Hotel to temporarily close at 12 a.m. March 16

In response to the rapidly developing situation surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) and our efforts to protect the health and safety of our guests and employees, Jumer’s Casino & Hotel is acting to comply with the direction of the Illinois Gaming Board to temporarily close its doors beginning at 12 a.m. on Monday, March 16, until further notice. All activities are canceled, including casino promotions and events.

We will be communicating as quickly as possible with our employees to assist them during this period. We thank them for their ongoing diligence and ability to adapt in a very fluid and unprecedented circumstance.

In the meantime, we are continuing to help protect against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and help ensure guest and employee safety. We have taken and will continue taking actions to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus based on the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including:

  • Expanding sanitizing protocols and bolstering cleaning services throughout our venue.
  • Placing hand sanitizer stations at locations across the property for use by guests and employees.
  • Posting notifications for our employees reinforcing the importance of handwashing.
  • Advising associates who feel sick to remain at home.

How long will Jumer’s Casino & Hotel be closed?

We are closely monitoring the situation and following the guidelines issued by federal, state and local health authorities, including the CDC. What is being done for employees – will they continue to get paid and receive benefits?

Jumer’s Casino & Hotel has worked to protect public health by following the State of Illinois and CDC guidelines. If you are symptomatic, please follow the Illinois Department of Public Health and CDC guidelines.

Will my offer/promotion be honored once the casino is reopened?

Right now, we are focused on the health and safety of our guests and employees. Once we reopen, we will communicate our upcoming offers/ promotions. But don’t worry, we have many more exciting programs planned. 

Is the hotel open for me to stay at?

What about my Lucky North® Club points? Will they expire while you’re closed?

Your Lucky North® Club points are safe. Jumer’s Casino & Hotel has suspended all points and tier status expiry during the closure and until further notice. Lucky North® Club points will not expire while the property is closed. 

Will I retain my Lucky North® Club status? 

Your Lucky North® Club status will remain unchanged while the property is closed.

Where can I obtain my win/loss statement for 2019?

We are unable to complete Win/Loss form request due to Illinois State Lottery regulations. We ask our guests to visit Jumer’s Casino & Hotel, once we reopen.

What if I have questions regarding the win/loss statement I received already?

The information provided is in response to a request by the person identified. The activity shown in the statement is associated with the player's club card only. Hence, no assurance is made that this activity was accumulated by the person identified. The figures provided may not be all inclusive of the person's gaming activity and only reflects that information currently available in the Jumer’s Casino & Hotel’s database. Further, the above 'Dollars In' figure may include winnings and may not be an accurate representation of investment.

My cash voucher is expired? How do I receive my cash?

Jumer’s Casino & Hotel guests have one year to redeem cash vouchers. Guests will be able cash vouchers for tickets expired during the temporary closure. Guest can visit the cage to cash out their vouchers once Jumer’s Casino & Hotel reopens.

How do I cancel/ receive a refund for my reservation for the hotel?

Guests booking with Jumer’s Casino & Hotel will not be charged for their rooms/reservation during the temporary closure and will be canceled automatically. Guests booking through a third-party site, ex. Hotel.com, Expedia, etc. should contact them separately to rebook/cancel.

When will tickets for the ABBA show be refunded?

It can take 5-7 days for the refund to show depending on credit/debit card policies.

I paid cash for my ABBA ticket, how and when can I get a refund?

We will process cash refunds when Jumer’s Casino & Hotel when the Casino opens again. For more details, please email: info@jumerscri.com.

Will the ABBA show be postponed to a later date?

Currently, Jumer’s Casino & Hotel is not rescheduling this performance this year.
